The Foundation was established by Lady Anne Ngozi Nworah in loving memory of her late mother, Mrs. Kate Ezeani, a compassionate and selfless woman whose life was devoted to caring for widows, orphans, destitute individuals and other vulnerable members of society. Her unwavering commitment to humanitarian service left a lasting impact on many lives and became the inspiration behind the creation of this Foundation.
Determined to preserve her mother’s legacy, Lady Nworah founded the Kate Ezeani Memorial Foundation to continue the work of restoring hope and dignity to widows, while also extending compassion and practical support to orphans, the destitute and other vulnerable people. Through the Foundation, she seeks to reassure every beneficiary that difficult circumstances do not define their worth or limit their God-given purpose.
The Foundation is committed to empowering widows through business support, vocational training, skills acquisition, mentorship and access to livelihood opportunities. It also provides educational support for orphans and the children of widows, humanitarian relief for the destitute, and community-based interventions that uplift vulnerable families.
Guided by Christian values of love, compassion and service, the Foundation reminds every person it serves that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, that their destiny remains intact, and that with the right support they can build a brighter future.
Today the Foundation stands as a living tribute to the enduring legacy of Mrs. Kate Ezeani and the vision of Lady Anne Ngozi Nworah, whose leadership continues to restore hope, preserve dignity and create opportunities for widows, orphans, the destitute and vulnerable people across Nigeria.

The Kate Ezeani Memorial Foundation is a Nigerian charitable initiative. A registered 501(c)(3) partner is coming on board shortly, which will make US gifts tax-deductible. Until that is in place, gifts made here are not deductible. We would rather say that here than let anyone discover it at tax time.
